STYLE SPOTTING: THE OSCARS

The night of nights didn't disappoint this year, with 2012 marking the return of the white evening gown in a variety of off-the-shoulder possibilities. Gwyneth Paltrow (pictured above) is my fashion heroine, having pulled off wearing a cape down the red-carpet, without the slightest hint of super-hero innuendo. She just looks so luxe. Given her super-classic look, I'd assume her shoes are something like these:

Emma Stone wore a stunning jewel tone gown by Giambattista Valli. Given her silver handbag and bangle, one can only assume she wore silver stilettos under that lovely gown!
