It's a blissful moment, normally triggered by a magazine when you transition from delighted onlooker to involved, in love and ready to covet a new purchase. Today I had far too much stimulus lead me to this moment - but I'll share with you the top two:
Firstly, being inspired by what other people are wearing. I know that I have talked about this before, but it's even more fun at Fashion Week! Here are just a few examples of outfits I spotted and loved...

Secondly, I went to the catwalk show for Miss Unkon today and honestly, from the first look, I knew I was in serious trouble. It was a refreshing look at the much tougher warrior looks seen in labels over the past seasons with a gorgeous pastel palette and lots of soft, flowing garments... and I really enjoyed it. I am now obsessed with owning a long, floaty light-mustard coloured skirt. Worth noting: one of the things that really kept the looks edgy and modern rather than ultra feminine were the shoes. The dresses were paired with tough ankle boots in dark colours. Additionally, my front-row spotting revealed a lot of greyish brown suede or tan soft leather peep toe ankle boots.

So, coming out of this catwalk show, my recommendation for a quick wardrobe update of those floaty Summer dresses is to put on an ankle boot and take the look more boho than ladylike by styling it with some layered gold necklaces. Here are a couple of ankle boot designs, to show you what I mean:

I'm in watching a resort and swimwear parade tomorrow, so stay tuned! (my bet is on lots of bright florals and cork wedges...)
