SYDNEY FASHION WEEK #2: FOOTWEAR FOR RESORTWEAR AND THE *SPECTACULAR* BIANCA SPENDER

Apologies in advance for the day of silence in between, but I do have much to report! As mentioned at the end of my last post, next stop was swim/resortwear :)

I saw 4 swim/resort collections and have the following tips to share: no matter what you're doing near water this Summer, you need to be wearing big platform wedges. They're coming into our custom shoe range soon and if you want a sneak peek, you can check out my post on it here.

Secondly I was lucky enough to see the Bianca Spender show and it was incredible. Bianca's designs are modern, (great structure - they really look sculptured), feminine (beautiful materials using layers and transparency) AND wearable.

Importantly, shoes at this show were chunky heels covered in accent colours - either electric blue, yellow or silver soft leather. The uppers were made with tan soft leather - you can see an up-close in the leading picture for this post. To create something along the same lines, you could try something like this:
