Jodie Fox should be exhausted from her feverish pursuit of the perfect shoe, but is instead only further dedicated to the cause by harnessing this desire and channeling it into keeping Shoes of Prey an edgy guiding light for your shoe collection.

The shape and flavour that Jodie brings to the brand Shoes of Prey is borne out of a career with one of Australia's top advertising agencies, The Campaign Palace. Prior to working in the advertising and fashion worlds Jodie was a lawyer. It was at law school that she met the two Michaels.

Michael Fox manages logistics, relationships and buying so that you can always have any shoe you desire - a feature that Jodie rates very highly in her husband.

Having first dipped his toe into the legal profession, Michael wasn't destined for the courtroom. He went on to spend several years in business management roles at a major Australian retailer and then with the search engine Google. Whilst the prospect of remaining at Google was tempting, Shoes of Prey was an even greater temptation that Michael felt so strongly about that he handed in his resignation, and turned his mind to ensuring you're always well shod.

Mike Knapp is our resident innovator of www.shoesofprey.com. His dedication to bringing you a smooth shoe-design process is soon to be matched in equal parts by an appreciation of women's shoes, a passion he's currently working on!

Mike's engineering skills come from years as a software engineer at Google where he worked on Google's internal sales tools and Google Reader. But, believe us, nerdy doesn't even come into it! He's entrepreneurial, having dabbled in his own businesses previously and his attention to detail goes back to a past life as a judges associate. Although it was a tough choice for Mike to leave Google, he believed in the concept of Shoes of Prey so much that he knew it was the opportunity he couldn't miss.

Melissa started as an intern while studying Computer Science and Digital Media at UNSW and signed up full time when she graduated. She works with Mike to ensure the website is always innovative and easy to use.

What makes Melissa unique is that she not only loves coding, but she is also a fashion and shoe fiend. In her spare time she enjoys creating her own clothes and accessories, a list she hopes one day to add shoes to!

Susie joins the Shoes of Prey family in the capacity of Customer Happiness and Marketing. Susie helps to answer all your shoe related questions and to get your shoes safely to your door. Susie also works with Jodie to make sure you're informed and updated when it comes to Shoes of Prey!

Apart from her gorgeous demeanour and many other skills, prior to joining us Susie spent 4 years working for Getty Images and Dorling Kindersley as a photo and art editor where she was responsible for the conception, development, shooting and editing of both creative and commercial photo shoots. She's an amazing photographer in her own right having had her work exhibited both domestically and overseas. She has a Bachelor of Photography/Visual Culture from the Queensland College of Art and she'll no doubt be a great help with our photography and video shoots in addition to many other things.

Belinda (Bel) is currently in her fourth year studying Computer Science at the University of New South Wales. She has had previous work experience as a programmer with Fairfax Digital and Atlassian, and has also tutored first year students in higher computer and engineering design. Over the summer break she has been busy programming soccer-playing robots for an international competition that will be held in Turkey later in the year. Bel lists her hobbies as sleeping ("there can never be enough"), eating lots of delicious food and playing computer games (Team Fortress 2 is a particular favorite).

If you email Shoes of Prey, there's a good chance it will be Jonaye who will be doing her best to make your shoe dreams come true. Jonaye comes to us with a forbiddable skill set in relationship management and office administration having most recently worked as an administrative assistant for the Victoria Police Force in their crime department. She'll be working closely with Susie ensuring our customers are the happiest in the land. Jonaye is also a singer, actor and dancer (triple threat!) in her spare time.

Lucy loves shoes. We first met Lucy when we made her a pair of ivory and gold silk heels for her wedding early in 2011. She loved her shoes so much that she's joined our team and now helps you to design beautiful shoes, making sure you're completely happy throughout the process. Lucy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Reading University in the UK majoring in Italian (which she speaks) and management studies. Prior to Shoes of Prey Lucy worked as a Business Analyst Manager at Macquarie Bank in Sydney.

Qun spends her days inspecting, checking and re-inspecting every single pair of Shoes of Prey shoes to ensure we deliver to you the highest quality hand-made shoes. With a wealth of shoe manufacturing and operational experience, Qun is one tough quality-control cookie to get past! Outside of work Qun likes to shop and sing karaoke.

Penny is in her third year studying Information Systems and Information Management at Hunan Business University, however she loves shoes and we've snared her skills as a shoe curator for Shoes of Prey. Penny works to ensure your shoes are lovingly packaged and delivered to your waiting feet. Prior to joining Shoes of Prey Penny's favourite job while studying at University had been dressing up as a robot cat to entertain kindergarten children!

Holly has joined us after spending 3 years with a US biodiesel firm based in China working as a translator and assisting in negotiations with suppliers. Having worked as a translator her English is excellent, and she's already proven her worth as a negotiator negotiating better deals for us with various suppliers in China. Holly is also a wonderful cook, having cooked for the team many times already.

Jophie gradulated from college with a major in Business English. Prior to joining Shoes of Prey she was working as a translator. Currently Jophie handles our logistics, making sure all our shoes are shipped to the correct address. She likes reading novels and watching English movies in her spare time. Her goal in life is to take care of her parents, whom she adores very much.

Shoe production has been James' passion for over 16 years. He has been involved for some famous shoe brands, such as Adidas, Nike, Converse, Timberland, Nine West and Coach. James has also worked in the shoe industry in Vietnam for more than a year as a technical director. His personal philosophy is that, in order for a shoe company to succeed, the craftsmens must treat each shoe with the care of a newborn baby. Outside of work, he enjoys reading and exercising.

Andy studied shoe design at BaiYun College, Guangzhou majoring in leather design and technology. After completing his studies Andy went on to work for two large Chinese footwear companies ST&SAT and Belle.

Andy works closely with our team to ensure all our shoe design options are on trend so that you have fantastic design options to choose from at Shoes of Prey. Away from work Andy enjoys basketball and movies.
