We’re looking for a software developer to assist building key web projects that impact our customers and our internal teams. Additionally, you will work closely with our Merchandiser to take new shoes from designs to live product on the Shoes of Prey website. You will be launching early and often, getting feedback and then iterating to produce systems that help drive the growth of the business. This role will give you the autonomy and responsibility to make a huge impact on the business with mentorship from a top notch team. We employ pair programming with all new hires to ensure minimal ramp up onto our technology stack and increase team cohesion.

  • Guide new products from design concept to live-on-site while helping to improve the efficiency of the new product introduction pipeline;
  • Utilize cutting edge tools like React, Redux, and Typescript to contribute to the development of a top tier website;
  • Learn best practices for responsive modern desktop and mobile web applications in a startup environment;
  • Lend your voice to architectural discussions that push our infrastructure to new levels of stability as we continue to grow;
  • Assist in improving the quality of the website by applying an engineering mindset with attention to detail in testing and development.

  • A passion for learning and expanding your existing skillset;
  • Computer Science (or similar) degree or relevant experience;
  • Familiarity with the web development stack and how applications are delivered from DNS to CSS;
  • Working knowledge of team based software development utilizing Slack, Github, etc.
