Last night was a big one for Shoes of Prey: we took home not one, but TWO awards at the Online Retail Industry Awards (ORIAs)!
In the category for Most Innovative Online Retailer, we were lucky enough to take the prize for the second time since we launched in 2009. The win recognised Shoes of Prey as having the most imaginative initiatives in an online retail space, and described us as being original, exciting and practical.
“It’s really extraordinary to be honest, I didn’t expect it," says Shoes of Prey co-founder, Jodie Fox. "It was a really strong category of nominees and it’s great to see online retail flourishing in Australia. I think this is a real motivation piece to keep us being creative in providing a great offering for our customers."
Also, in collaboration with The Iconic, the Best Shoe Ever competition took out the award for Best Social Commerce Initiative. The gong aims to highlight innovative and effective uses of social networks for brand building, customer service and as a sales channel.
“We won this with award off the back of our combined effort with Shoes of Prey on the Best Shoe Ever initiative, so it’s really been a team effort – I have to thank everyone involved in both organisations for this award,” said Finn Haensel, co-founder of The Iconic.
Upon receiving the shiny trophy, we took to Instagram to share our excitement with everyone. We received an amazing response within seconds of posting our photo! Thank you for all your kind words of support and encouragement! We are so glad to be able to share this with you!
