YES OR NO?
WHETHER OR NOT TO COVER IT UP
Toe cleavage. Vamp. Foot cracks. Whatever you like to call it, for the ladies who love shoes it’s a real issue. While some gals are happy to expose more of their toes, others desperately want them covered up.
Our study of toe cleavage leads us to one shoe in particular; the ballet flat. One of the most polarising aspects of a ballet flat is whether it should have toe cleavage or not. During the early days of Shoes of Prey, this wasn't something we’d realised when we launched our first ballet flat. Thrilled that we’d finally delivered the perfect low-cut toe cleavage shoe, we hadn't even considered that there were women out there who held the opposite opinion!
So, we tweaked our design to err on the side of modesty, choosing instead to cover the cleavage. Currently our style sits higher up on the foot so you can feel more comfortable. Shop the style below.
